Facing the Future, Empowering Green Power - ZDATA Builds a Green Infrastructure New Foundation
Under the guidance of the national and Beijing's dual carbon pathways, ZDATA has proactively laid out plans, formulating company-level and project park carbon-neutral implementation roadmaps. This ensures that in the future, the proportion of green and renewable energy used in data computing power parks will reach 100%, creating a mission for zero-carbon development in the digital industry through the dual linkage of "renewable energy + computing power infrastructure."
With the support of the Miyun District Committee and District Government and following the directive spirit of Green Development by Mayor Ma Xinming, ZDATA has taken the lead with the "Miyun Green Innovation Base Phase I Photovoltaic Project." Recently, it successfully connected to the grid and became the largest distributed photovoltaic power generation system in the Beijing area for data computing power parks. It is also the largest distributed photovoltaic project in Miyun District to date. This marks the realization of ZDATA's vision of "fast delivery, empowering green electricity, and zero-carbon computing power," unveiling a new chapter and ushering in the era of green photovoltaics for ZDATA.
To do a good job, one must first sharpen one's tools. This project utilizes the company's independently innovated patented technology, providing technological support for green and low-carbon initiatives. It achieves deep integration of photovoltaic monitoring and data center monitoring systems, enabling real-time and dynamic absorption of all photovoltaic power generation. This project is also the first demonstration project for ZDATA to actively fulfill carbon-neutral commitments and implement early trials for green and low-carbon development.
The project adopts industry-leading integrated photovoltaic system and prefabrication technology. On one hand, it meets the needs of large-scale and rapid delivery scenarios of data centers and engineering deconstruction requirements, realizing a low-carbon production and manufacturing process. On the other hand, it achieves a planned photovoltaic capacity of 2196.72 kW in the park, supplying 3 million kWh of green electricity annually. This can reduce carbon emissions by approximately 3000 tons and effectively reduce the peak power consumption of data centers.
ZDATA will continue to implement the concept of green and low-carbon development, continuously upgrade and optimize the innovation system, actively participate in national green electricity trading, integrate into regional green electricity trading mechanisms, construct locally absorbed renewable energy power stations, and explore the process of integrating source, grid, load, and storage. This will accelerate the realization of carbon neutrality and zero-carbon computing power goals, moving towards a greener and more sustainable future, and contributing to the early achievement of China's dual carbon targets.
