ZDATA Accelerates Western Layout with Dual-Center Zero-Carbon Computing Power Project Launch in Zhongwei
On December 27, Zhongwei Municipal Government and ZDATA signed an investment contract in Yinchuan to construct a "Dual-Center" integrated zero-carbon green energy computing power project at the National "East Data West Computing" hub node in Zhongwei, Ningxia. Chen Chunping, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and Executive Vice Chairman, held in-depth discussions with ZDATA founder and Chairman Zhou Kang and his delegation, witnessing the signing ceremony. Zhongwei Municipal Party Committee Secretary, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee Liu Guoqiang, Deputy Secretary of Zhongwei Municipal Party Committee and Mayor Ma Honghai, Director of Autonomous Region Data Bureau Mai Xinpu, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Information Technology He Liying, Vice Mayor of Zhongwei Yang Zhaoming, as well as senior representatives from strategic ecosystem partners including Blue Cultivation Technology, iSoftStone, and Iluvatar CoreX, along with the Group's Vice President Kang Nan and Executive President Assistant Dong Yinliang, attended the event.
In recent years, Ningxia has focused on building the "Capital of Computing Power in China", fully leveraging its natural endowments and advantages in green power, and making every effort to promote the construction of the "East West Computing" hub in Ningxia. The scale, quality, and environment of computing power are among the top in the country, and stable green power guarantees, strong policy support, and excellent business environment provide fertile ground for the development and growth of digital economy enterprises. Since the beginning of this year, Zhongwei City has deeply studied and implemented the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the important speech of General Secretary Xi Jinping's inspection of Ningxia, actively responded to the national strategy of "counting from the east to the west", practiced national green and low-carbon development, highlighted the benefits of digital information industry agglomeration, and continuously improved the influence of the digital economy.
As a leading digital infrastructure service provider in the industry, ZDATA is committed to the construction and operation of new high computing power data centers and the R&D and application of green and low-carbon new technologies. It has advanced data center construction and delivery, green energy conservation, operation and maintenance management levels, and provides green and intelligent digital infrastructure comprehensive services for domestic and foreign head customers such as the Internet, 5G, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, etc. After the completion of the project in three phases, the IT scale can reach 500MW. With the advantage of Ningxia's strong development of green electricity and clean energy, we will explore a new mode of interaction between the power generation end and the consumption end in terms of "source load". Through the integration of "source grid load storage", we will build a fully green, highly intelligent, and sustainable leading zero carbon computing demonstration base in China, comprehensively reduce the energy consumption of intelligent computing operation, and create a green computing model of "East West Computing". ZDATA will also rely on advanced technology and resource advantages, collaborate with ecological chain partners such as Softtek, Lanyun Technology, and Shanghai Tiantian Zhixin Semiconductor Company to layout in Ningxia, continuously deepen deep cooperation between the two sides, inject new momentum into the construction of Ningxia's computing power hub, and help Ningxia's digital economy achieve leapfrog development.
