Good News! ZDATA Green Big Data Industrial Base Wins 2025 Cloud Computing Center Science and Technology Award – Excellence Award
Recently, the 2025 Cloud Computing Center Science and Technology Award list was officially announced. After a rigorous, fair, and impartial review process, the ZDATA Green Big Data Industrial Base stood out with its outstanding green innovation capabilities and industry demonstration value, successfully winning the Excellence Award and becoming a benchmark model in the green cloud computing center sector.
The award selection was organized by the China Electronic Energy-Saving Technology Association, with the review office based in its Data Center Energy-Saving Technology Branch. The entire process was overseen by experts through multiple rounds of screening, aiming to recognize technological innovations that have made significant contributions to national energy conservation, emission reduction, and digital economy development, and to promote the green and efficient upgrading of the cloud computing center industry.
The ZDATA Green Big Data Industrial Base is located in Longquan Industrial Park, Yanggao County, Datong, Shanxi. It is a large‑scale green computing power base integrating data centers, cloud computing, and big data industries, featuring three core advantages: high reliability, high security, and high environmental protection. Driven by technological innovation, the base has developed a number of industry‑leading energy‑saving solutions:
HVDC 2.0 Technology
Enables constant‑voltage output, fault isolation, improved load capacity, supports automatic capacity verification and lithium‑battery compatibility, and significantly reduces line losses.
Cold‑plate Liquid Cooling Technology
Adapts to high‑density cabinets, enables year‑round free cooling, and greatly reduces air‑conditioning energy consumption.
Heat‑recovery Evaporative Cooling Fluorine‑pump Air Conditioning
Recovers waste heat from the computer room for campus heating, turning waste into useful resource and further enhancing energy efficiency.
Container‑based Diesel Generator Composite Heating and Insulation Technology
Primarily uses hot‑water circulation with electric heating as backup, ensuring more energy‑efficient standby operation in winter.
The base achieves comprehensive leadership in energy efficiency, noise reduction, density, reliability, and operation and maintenance efficiency, providing a replicable and scalable green low‑carbon model for the industry.
This Excellence Award from the Cloud Computing Center Science and Technology Award is a strong industry affirmation of the innovation strength and social responsibility of the ZDATA Green Big Data Industrial Base. In the future, the base will continue to deepen green computing power, advance the industrialization of technological achievements, and support the implementation of the national "East Data, West Computing" strategy, contributing even more to the low‑carbon, high‑efficiency, and intelligent development of China’s data center industry.
